I drive by this building most days and was unaware of the delicious food within! Very casual lunch spot open M-F 11:00-2:00. I had the fried flounder sandwich...it was I believe the best I've ever had. Very fresh, perfectly seasoned and a warm bun - so good. I'm told by one of the servers that clientelle is 90% repeat and I understand why! I snapped a couple pics that I will include on this review.

I can honestly say I'd go out of my way to eat at Annabelle's even if my office wasnt right around the corner. Awesome food, friendly people and extremely reasonable prices keep this place busy. Definitely try the fried green tomato BLT, the dill mayo is great.

Its a small little place. I worked in the area for 9 months before I figured out it was there, and now i am a regular! They have daily specials and an extensive regular menu, so there is something for everyone at reasonable prices!

Despite being slightly difficult to find, the food was fast, hot, and delicious. The prices were also right. Daily specials offered. Had the bbq sandwich w/ coleslaw and fried squash. It was on point and I'd get it again. Friend had fried chicken sandwich with fries and it was good, but very hot! Since I work in the area, I'll definitely go back!

I wanted shrimp and grits ($8.60) but was a little cautious of the Cajun cream sauce (I like spicy but not on fire) the waitress suggested she could get me a taste of the sauce but came back without it. She told me the chef makes it from scratch. Wow, that's a nice break from other restaurants where it's already ready!! So, he is customizing my order to go easy on the spice. I love this place already. Huge glasses for the sweet tea! Oh, my goodness!! My shrimp & grits with corn fritters was awesome! My husband had the chicken breast sandwich with cheese and bacon and I had a taste - it was excellent. Sorry that they are only open for lunch.

The women who work the counter are awesome. They're extremely friendly and greet everyone with a warm smile upon entering. This is a fun place to go for lunch. The lunch specials are usually good. I love the way they figured out pricing so no matter what you order the price will be even dollar amount without change. I eat here twice a month and I've yet been able to stomp them with my order combinations.

So, they took a chef from a prominent downtown restaurant, to feed the lunch crowd near Detyen's Shipyard, in the Noisette area. I just found out that they no longer served breakfast, because it wasn't supported. :@( There are businesses out of the way, that strive to get to Anna Belle's for lunch. They have GREAT prices on high quality lunch meals, in a small, industrial atmosphere. It's not often I can make it here, but when I have the time, this place is my goal. They are only open for lunch. Yes it's sad, but for the area, it only makes sense.

I had the southwest salad with no cheese and honey mustard dressing as I'm vegan. The bean cakes were crisp on the outside and tasty. the dressing was spicy but complimentary to the salad. the veggies were fresh and pretty. i would order again, but would wish for a baguette or a little more than crackers to accompany the salad.
